At VanLandingham & Co, my goal is to create spaces that feel uniquely yours—layered with rich textures, thoughtful repetition, unexpected pops of color, a mix of materials, and hand-selected original art. Whether you're looking for a home to unwind in, entertain guests, or simply enjoy day-to-day, I'll help bring your vision to life.
It’s my joy to take your vision and bring it to life. I want to hear all about the challenges you’re facing with your current space, how you and your family use each room, and how you hope it will function for you—all within your style preferences and budget. From there, I’ll take the reins (with your input, of course!).
Your home is an extension of you—a sacred space you share with your closest friends, family, and maybe even the occasional stranger. My goal is to create a home that feels like you—whether it’s a space to energize you, bring you peace, or something in between. I’ll always be honest with you, letting you know if something isn’t quite working or if we need to rethink a detail. Think of it as a little Enneagram 4 “brutal authenticity” at its best!
And So It Begins…
We’ll kick things off with a consultation where I can see your space and get a sense of your style. This is the perfect time for you to share what’s working, what’s not, and your dreams for the space. I’ll offer real-time feedback and brainstorm ideas with you to start shaping a plan.
If we decide to move forward, I’ll return to take photos, measurements, and dive deeper into the details of the project. A questionnaire (that I’ll provide) will come in handy here as we refine the scope and direction of the work.
The Process
From there, I’ll create mood boards tailored to your vision, complete with a quick memo outlining the selections. Your feedback will guide us to ensure we’re heading in the right direction. Once we’re aligned, I’ll begin sourcing—paint colors, materials, furniture, and contractors—all the elements to bring your space to life. Depending on the project’s scope, this phase can take a few weeks.
You’ll review the selections online, and we can finalize details either virtually or in person. Once approved, I’ll send over a proposal and start the ordering process. As items ship and deliver, I’ll keep you updated and coordinate installation. This may require multiple visits depending on schedules, shipping, and production timelines. (Pro tip: A hide-a-key is super helpful!)
